August 10, 2014

It’s recording now? OK. I just cleared my throat. You can tell. Its hot today, Jim. We went to mass today and then after mass, two little fellows came and tapped on my shoulder. It was Rex and Jay.
They shared with me a video of their summer camp experience with the Lutherans in Kerrville. It was really good. I saw Jay climb up this rock wall – it was pretty high – and when he got up at the top, he gets on this zip line and comes down. So he really enjoyed that and then Bethany went up kind of like… its not a mountain, but a high hill and she came down on a zip line as well. So they had a good time doing that kind of stuff.

We have this afternoon with us they Schultz family. It got awfully quiet. I don’t know if they left or not but anyway someone said that Johnny needed to come over here and bail me out of some stuff on my iPad. What I don’t know is how to write things on it - I guess you type things on it - and after the message is typed, how to forward it. I looked at all the things on the menu, I guess, and it didn’t have anything. I’ll figure it out though.

We sure enjoyed visiting with you and Cristan the other day. That was really neat. Not much else has been going on since we talked, but trying to stay cool here in the house. It’s too hot outside. Anyway, we’ll see how this works out and I’ll be talking to you later. Love you guys both very much. God bless you both. Over and out – however that happens.

Papa's "test" video for his blog.

Joe: OK. We’ve got the video going now and I hope you’ll be able to receive this. Now I’m nonplussed for words. I didn’t think I’d ever get to that point in my life.

Agnes: Let’s just make it short and we’ll go ahead and send it and see if it will go.

Joe: (singing) Mary had a little lamb, little lamb, little lamb. Mary had a little lamb, the doctor was surprised.

Agnes: OK. Goodbye.
